Emmy, a young community manager for a famous New York publishing house, has to manage the image of an old and arrogant author, William Anderson, the uncontested king of thrillers.

Working for a tyrannical boss, drowned in the anomnimity of the Big Apple, and devoured by the mad race of performing, she becomes a shadow of her former self. But this job is the key to a better position, and she must endure it.

As she is about to take her first vacation, the editor asks her to help William Anderson type his manuscript. To her surprise, the writer doesn't live in the USA, but in Scotland, on the Isle of Skye. Once there, she is hosted by a man as handsome and mysterious as the surrounding landscape.

During her stay, she'll find out many revelations she doesn't expect.
